Traditionally used to absorb ink when handwriting with fountain or heavily inked pens.

It may also be used in printmaking to absorb excess inks.

Use as a size catcher and insert between moistened etching paper and etching blanket or place between sheets of wet printmaking papers to remove excess moisture.
Great for edicol dye and splatter work
